Who is SecureDoors Israel?
SecureDoors Israel is a Jerusalem locksmith company that also supplies and installs interior doors, with over 10 years of experience. We work in English, Hebrew and French, so you can describe the problem in your own language and understand exactly what is being done to your door.
The business has two sides: locksmith work, which we provide anywhere in Israel, and interior doors, which we sell and install only in Jerusalem and the surrounding area.
What do we actually do?
Two trades, two service areas: locksmith work across Israel, interior doors around Jerusalem.
| Trade | What it covers | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Locksmith | Door opening when you are locked out or lost your keys, lock and cylinder replacement, securing a door after a break-in, security lock and cylinder upgrades, free advice | All of Israel |
| Interior doors | Sale and installation of interior doors: modern designs, sound-insulating doors, sliding polymer doors in white or cream, flush “zero line” doors, doors with decorative glass | Jerusalem and surrounding area |

Why does an English-speaking locksmith matter?
Because being locked out is stressful enough without a language barrier. Many olim and long-term residents from the US, the UK, South Africa or Australia come across hardware in Israel that works differently from what they grew up with:
- the steel front door, usually called a “Pladelet”;
- the cylinder (tsilinder), which drives a lock with several bolts;
- the building entrance with a code or intercom, run by the building committee (va’ad bayit).
We explain in plain English what is jammed, what needs replacing and what can stay. When a cylinder change solves the problem, there is no reason to replace the whole lock. If you want the basics before you call, our practical guides cover the most common situations.
When can you reach us?
Sunday to Friday. We are closed on Shabbat. We do not publish fixed hours, so the simplest way is to call or WhatsApp 055-508-8444. On Fridays, get in touch early in the day. Every way to reach us is listed on the contact page.
What you won’t find on this site
We decided to publish only what we can stand behind:
- No price list: the cost depends on the door, the lock and the job.
- No promised arrival time: it depends on your town, the time of day and traffic.
- No made-up branch offices: we are based in Jerusalem, and other cities are service areas, not offices.

Frequently asked questions
Are you only in Jerusalem?
We are based in Jerusalem, but our locksmith services cover all of Israel. Interior door sales and installation are limited to Jerusalem and the surrounding area. If you are not sure whether your town is covered, call 055-508-8444.
Can I deal with you in English from start to finish?
Yes. The first call, the explanation of what is wrong with your door and any follow-up can all happen in English. We also work in Hebrew and French, which helps when a landlord, a neighbor or the va’ad bayit needs to be involved.
How long have you been doing this?
SecureDoors Israel has over 10 years of experience with locks and doors. That experience is with the hardware you actually find in Israeli homes: steel entry doors, cylinders, multi-bolt locks and interior doors.
Do you charge for advice on securing a door?
No, advice on securing your door is free. Describe your door and send a photo of the cylinder on WhatsApp, and we will tell you what is worth upgrading and what is already fine.
Why don’t you list prices on the website?
Because the cost depends on the door, the type of lock or cylinder and the work that is actually needed. A price posted without seeing the door would be misleading. Describe your situation by phone or WhatsApp to get a quote.
