Contact a locksmith in Israel: phone, WhatsApp or email
To contact a locksmith in Israel urgently (locked out, lost keys, a jammed lock), call or WhatsApp 055-508-8444. For anything that can wait, email securedoorsisrael@gmail.com or use the form at the bottom of this page. We answer in English, Hebrew and French, Sunday to Friday.
- English, Français, עברית
- Sunday to Friday, closed on Shabbat
What is the fastest way to reach us?
By phone. If you are locked out, the lock is broken or you have had a break-in, call 055-508-8444. It is the most direct way to arrange a call-out without a back-and-forth of messages.
| Channel | Best for | Details |

What should you tell us?
The more specific your message, the easier it is to bring the right cylinder and tools. Include:
- Your town and neighborhood, then the exact address.
- Access: floor, elevator, building entrance code or intercom.
- Door type: steel front door (a “Pladelet”), wooden door, service door or interior door.
- What happened: door slammed shut with the keys inside, lost or stolen keys, key broken in the lock, a cylinder that sticks, an attempted break-in.
- A photo of the cylinder from the outside and, if possible, of the edge of the door.
- Your preferred language: English, Hebrew or French.
For interior doors, also tell us how many doors, which rooms and, if you have them, the opening sizes. Interior doors are available in Jerusalem and the surrounding area only.
Which days are we available?
Sunday to Friday; closed on Shabbat. We do not publish fixed hours, so call to find out whether a visit is possible when you need it. On Fridays, reach out as early in the day as you can. Emails and form requests sent over Shabbat are read after Shabbat ends.
Where do we work?
Locksmith services cover all of Israel; interior doors cover Jerusalem and the surrounding area. We are based in Jerusalem and come to you: other cities are service areas, not branch offices. The full list of towns is on our service areas page, and Jerusalem neighborhoods are on the Jerusalem locksmith page.
Locked out right now?
Call rather than filling in the form. While you wait:
- do not force the lock, and do not try to get in through a window or balcony;
- check whether a relative, your landlord or a neighbor has a spare key;
- if a young child or someone at risk is locked inside, or a stove has been left on, call emergency services first (police: 100, fire and rescue: 102).
Our guide locked out: what to do and the door opening page cover the next steps in detail.
Information sent through the form is used only to answer your request. See our privacy policy for details.

Frequently asked questions
Can I send photos before you come?
Yes, and it helps. Send a WhatsApp photo of the cylinder from the outside and one of the whole door. That makes it easier to identify the lock and bring the right parts.
Can I call from abroad for a family member in Israel?
Yes. From outside Israel, dial +972 55-508-8444. This is useful, for example, when you are arranging a visit for elderly parents: give us the exact address and the phone number of the person who will be at the door.
What will I be asked before you open my door?
Before opening a door, it is normal for a locksmith to check that you actually live there. If you can, keep an ID or a document showing that address within reach, or ask a neighbor to confirm.
Should I use the form in an emergency?
No. The form is for requests that can wait: interior door projects, advice or a planned lock change. If you are locked out or have just had a break-in, call 055-508-8444 directly.
Can you give me a price over the phone?
Prices are not listed on the site because they depend on the door, the lock and the work involved. Describe the situation and send a photo of the cylinder: that is the best basis for a quote.
